Happy Tuesday! At least it is a happy day for me since I am off work tomorrow. On my last post I mentioned taking pictures of some of my Pinterest projects I have made for my classroom (I am very proud, I must say). My classroom is almost done and I will take pictures of each center, area, etc. ASAP. Let the picture parade begin!
**Hero of the day cape**
I followed the directions right from my Pinterest link, stitched the shapes on (yes, stitched... I am a nut) and then hot glued the L's on. I hope the children like these as much as I do :)
**Banner word wall**
I printed the free circle banner download from my Pinterest and then just cut triangles from scrapbook paper that matches my room colors. I am pretty happy with the outcome... especially the little pom-poms on the corners!
**Sharp/ Sharpen buckets**
I have seen these adorable labels all over the internet but decided I loved these ones the best. This way I will know when we need to sharpen pencils for writing activities. Oh, and how much do you LOVE my frog pencil sharpener?! Found at Target, of course.
**R-E-A-D letters**
I found these giant letters at JoAnn's for about 4 bucks each. I covered them with scrapbook paper and lots of Modge Podge. I finished them up by hot gluing a cute ribbon to the back and pinning them up with giant push pins from the dollar store. LOVE!
**Crate storage seats**
Thanks to my extremely handy dad I now have these awesome crate seats. They are much more fluffy in person (picture does not do them justice). I am planning on making a cute sign for each crate saying "reading buddies" since all of our book plush characters are inside.
Oh, and check out the 1,2,3 boxes I bought from Ikea...
I just couldn't resist them! I think they were $9ish.
That's all of the pictures I have taken so far but many more to come. What do you think??
How did your dad add seat cushions to your crates? So Cool! I want some!
